Leesburg Mayor Kelly Burk (to my left) and Amishi Bhagat of the Loudoun Literacy Council were among those attending the introduction of the final chapter of my Cutter/Wellington Trilogy, "Life's Elusive Horizon...an unholy trinity." Set in the 1980s, the trio of novels offer perspective on a period of transition for the thoroughbred industry through the experiences of rival families in two hot spots in the "sport of kings"-- Kentucky and Virginia. Thanks to R. Allen Robinson of Books & Other Found Things for hosting.

THE CUTTER/WELLINGTON TRILOGY

Cutter/Wellington Trilogy intro moved from Leesburg to Charlottesville and 2nd Act Books. At center, I'm talking with UVA classmate Don Wheeler (right). Proprietor Daphne Spain looks on at far right. UVA student volunteer organization Madison House, C'ville Parks & Rec Adaptive program were beneficiaries of proceeds from book sales.
