This coming Fathers’ Day weekend, June 14-16, 2024, the Frontier League’s Sussex County Miners and Skylands Stadium will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the ballpark’s opening at Ross’ Corner in Augusta. As part of this festive weekend, Al Dorso and Skylands Park founder Rob Hilliard have collaborated on a charity auction of Hilliard’s sports memorabilia collection.


All proceeds from the auction will benefit two area non-profit organizations: SCARC, which is dedicated to empowering and supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, and the University of Virginia Club of Northern New Jersey (Hilliard, a native of Jersey City and former resident of Vernon Twp., is a 1974 UVA alumnus).
